ISRAEL Dale Clifford. Passed away peacefully on July 21, 2013 at the age of 59, with family by his side at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He was the son of Cliff and Muriel Israel of Mount Lehman and is lovingly remembered by sisters Lillian (Ron) Janzen of Chase, Shirley (John) Anning of Abbotsford and Sharon (Herb) Stoik and family of Barhead, AB. Uncle Dale will be missed by his nephews and niece, Cam (Michelle) Janzen, Dean Janzen (Crystal), Scott (Jessica) Janzen, Jennifer (Chris) Cafrine, Nicholas Anning, as well as his great nieces and nephews. Dale is survived by his Aunt Una (Owen) Dupre of Summerland and was also close to many cousins. A special thank you to cousin Janet for her daily visits. Dale treasured family gatherings and spending time with those he loved most. He loved adventure and trying new opportunities. He enjoyed skiing, kayaking, scuba diving, wilderness camping and photography. Some of his adventures in the Yukon included gold prospecting, trap lines, and handling a dog sled team. Dale had a passion for aviation which led him to obtain his pilot's license in the early 80's. A memorial service celebrating Dale's life will be held at Mount Lehman United Church on Mount Lehman Road on Thursday August 1, 2013 at 1:00 pm with a tea to follow at Anavet Club on McNeil Road.
