After a courageous battle with cancer, Harold passed away peacefully on December 27, 2004 in his 63rd year.
Loving and cherished husband of Sharon Hobbs; dear father of Jennifer Flentge (Norm), Brent (Susan), Jason and Michelle Hobbs; devoted grandfather of Payton Hobbs, Taylor Flentge and Talaya Hobbs. He is also survived by siblings Audrey McCarle (John), Buddy (Marg), Shirley Abrams (late Bill), Coleman (Joan), Milton (late Joyce), Iris Gervais (Reg), Alex (Betty), Lynne and sister-in-law Jeanne MacDonald; aunts Clare Lefebvre, Lillian MacDonald, Leona King, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Harold was predeceased by parents Wilfred and Daphne Macdonald of Williamstown, Ontario and brother Duncan.
Harold enjoyed hockey for many years, playing oldtimers hockey for Mission Pioneers and later with the Abbotsford Oldtimers “Wasted Knights” until his recent retirement and move to the Shuswap Lake. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
We ask that friends join the family in celebrating a great man’s life at West Abbotsford Mennonite Church (basement), 31216 King Rd., Abbotsford, BC on Friday, January 7, 2005 at 7:30 pm.
