With great sadness we announce the sudden and tragic death of our cherished son, Craig Andrew turner on Saturday, May 31, 2003.
Craig is predeceased by his grandparents, Juleen Bawtinheimer and Wesley Turner. He is survived by his loving parents, Dr. Robert and Gail Turner and his brother and best friend Derek; beloved grandparents Stuart and Vera Maitland, New Westminster; devoted uncle and godmother Jill Siano, Mukilteo, WA; and special cousins Mark Siano, Los Angeles and Lieta Siano, Seattle, WA. Craig will be missed by his much-loved girlfriend, Erin Thompson and her family.
Craig pursued his passion for flying to become a pilot at age 18 and received his commercial pilot's licence and floatplane rating at age 21. His goal was to be a fulltime commercial floatplane pilot.
His warm personality and bright smile helped him make friends wherever he went.
He will be missed by many, especially his lifelong friend David Reznick and his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Civil Air Search and Rescue Association would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Craig's life will be held at the Trinity Memorial United Church in Abbotsford on Wednesday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m.
