1951 - 2019 ~ Bruce passed away unexpectedly with Donna-Lee by his side at Abbotsford Regional Hospital in the early hours of Monday, July 8th after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Weston, Ontario but called the Fraser Valley his home for the last 37 years.
He will lovingly be remembered by his love Donna-Lee, son Jeremy (Marla), granddaughter Lily, brother James (Mary), special blended family members Hali (Ray) and their children Travis and Koralyn, David and his family, and Leigh and her family.
He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews both in Ontario and BC. He was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Lillian, sister Vivien, brother-in-law Bob and nephew Robbie.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff on the oncology ward for their compassionate care and understanding during Bruce's time there and we will be forever grateful.
There will be no service by request. Bruce wished to be cremated and a Celebration of Life is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers and because of Bruce's love of photography he wanted you to take a picture of a beautiful sunrise or sunset and think of him.
