Surrounded by her loving family, Cindy Marlene Sturwold passed away peacefully at MSA Hospital and went home to be with her Heavenly Father on February 8, 2003 at the age of 47 years.
Lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Stan and family Nichole (20), Tyler (18), Jodie (15) and beautiful little Sierra (4), who was our anchor throughout mommy's illness. Also, her loving mother Helen MacKenrod, sister Sandy Tipton, niece Sarah and nephew Jeff, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father Dwight MacKenrod in 1983.
Cindy was a career woman and a full-time mom who always made time for family. That was most important to her. Her wonderful wisdom, laughter and easy going attitude gave her the ability to succeed in both her family and professional life.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13 at 1:00 p.m. in Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford. A private family burial service will be held on Thursday morning prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
