FRANCIS Christine. Feb. 4 1961 ~ May 29 2012. On May 29, 2012, Chris passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Mission Hospice after a 6 year battle with cancer. After attending and graduating from school in Keremeos and college in Kelowna, Chris moved to the Lower Mainland where she dedicated her life, heart and soul to the education and care of special needs children. Chris leaves behind her Mum and Dad, John and Jill Francis of Cawston, BC; brother David and nephew Matthew of Cawston, BC; brother Shaun (Dana) and nephew Brian and niece Celia of Abbotsford; relatives in England, as well as many friends throughout BC and around the world. A Celebration of Life will be at Cascade Community Church, 35190 Delair Road Abbotsford, BC. Saturday, June 23, 2 pm to 5 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Research or the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission.
