The passing of Christina Reid Ewert into the presence of the Lord occurred on the evening of September 30, 2004 at the Abbotsford Menno Hospital. Christina Reid Ewert is survived by her daughter Roslynn Marie Ewert. Christina was predeceased by her husband Gustav Regart Ewert on September 8, 2004, and by her son Allan Richard Ewert of June 8, 2004. She was also predeceased by her only sister Agnes Ferguson, and a brother. Christina is survived by her brothers-in-law Arthur Ewert (Olive), Edgar Ewert (Sue), Alfons Ewert (Mary), Fred Jarvie (Doris), and Peter Stobbe. She is also survived by her cousins Tomasene Anderson, Agnes Anderson, nieces Gloria Cavacece (Giuliano), Beverly Ross (Cal), Gordon Jarvie (Erica), Mark Jarvie (Linda), Ion Jarvie (Val), Peggy Edmonds, Jim Ewert, and other relatives. Special thanks to Pastor Dan Goldsmith and Leona for their long time support and service; also thanks to the many nurses and caregivers at the Menno Hospital. Christina has shown great patience and thankfulness during her long time illness with MS. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. from Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd. with a reception to follow at Sevenoaks Alliance Church.
