Christina Marie Campbell born in Delia, AB and late of Abbotsford, B.C., passed away on November 2, 2003 at age 83 years. She was predeceased by her first husband, Donat Girard who was killed in action in 1943 in WW11; her second husband, Delbert Campbell in 1984; sister Lillian Lidget, December 22, 2002; sister Sylvia Hansen, June 2003; and son-in-law Larry Matthews, September 2003.
She is survived by Gail Paynter, Marion Hanelt, Neil (Bonnie) Campbell; Darlene Campbell (Don Zappone), Noreen (Rob) Sinclair, Scott (Bonnie) Campbell; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brother Morris Burroughs (EDie); sister Pat Nillier; brother Claude (Marie) Burroughs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie was retired at the time of death and was a long term employee of School District #34. She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, B.C.
Honorary Pall Bearers are her grandsons. Handing out the flowers and cards are her granddaughters. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
