Charlotte passed away on March 19, 2009 after a brief illness. She was born in Benito, Manitoba on September 27, 1920.
Predeceased by her sister Lola, brother Ren, daughter Shelley in 1954 and her husband of 61 years, Albert, in 2007.
She well be sadly missed by her daughters Judith (Bill) Croft and Arlene (Peter) Thygesen, and by her beloved grandson Trevor Thygesen.
Charlotte was well known by many as their Avon lady. She sold Avon for over 30 years and was honored in the Presidents Club numerous times.
She loved being a wife and mother and made sure her daughter's friends always felt welcome in the family home. She could bake better than anyone and always had a plate of cookies or a square ready in case company showed up.
She spent her last years at Worthington Pavilion under the watchful eyes and loving care of the amazing staff there.
A celebration of Charlotte's life will be held on Friday April 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the United Church, 33737 George Ferguson Way in Abbotsford.
