Charles Horvath, late of Chilliwack, formerly of Aldergrove, passed away after a lengthy illness, on Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Chilliwack General Hospital in his 76th year. He was predeceased by his Mother in 1968, Father in 1973 and his brother Joseph in 1995. He is survived by his family, Pat, his loving wife of 34 years, his children, Ronald Horvath, Aldergrove and Michael Horvath, Abbotsford; grandchildren, Mary Horvath and Bradley Horvath; his step children, Randy Horvath, White Rock and Darla (Todd) Hiller, Abbotsford; step-grandchildren, Brittney Horvath and Brooklyn Horvath and many dear friends.
Charles was a long time truck driver in the Lower Fraser Valley. He could be seen hard at work in his blue Kenworth. He was a part of the construction crew that worked on the Coquihalla Highway and many other major highways and byways in the province.
At Charles request there will be no service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the BC Lung Association in Charles’ name.
