WHEATLEY; Catherine Eleanor. Beloved by family and many friends, passed away unexpectedly on June 30, 2014 at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, where she was born 84 years ago on February 15, 1930. Services were held on July 6th at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Abbotsford followed by interment at Hazelwood Cemetery. Pre-deceased by husband, Peter O. Wheatley, Catherine is survived by sons, Harry and Bil Phillips and step children David Wheatley, Colin Wheatley and Ann Chartier, grandchildren Alicia, Anita, Abigail and Samuel Phillips, great-grandchildren Addison Jean and Austin Willey, nieces Marci Artis and Jamie Phillips and nephews Alan Phillips, Mervin and Norman Jewkes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Adventist Aviation and Native Ministries in Alaska.
