GRIFFITHS; Catherine. Catherine (McRae) Griffiths passed away peacefully on July 19, 2014 at the Menno Home just three days after her 90th birthday. Catherine was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Gavin Griffiths in 2007, as well as all her siblings: George, William, Alexander, Isaac, Robert, Jean, Agnes and Margaret. She is survived by her loving family, son Gavin Griffiths Jr. (Darlene), three grandchildren Ryan (Jenny), Jody Wellicome (Cory), Troy and her five great grandchildren Taelor, Morgyn, Caden, Wyatt, and Carys. Catherine had a sweet, caring heart and lovingly welcomed everyone into her home for a cup of tea or coffee and something to eat. As well, no one would leave her home without taking some of her baked or canned goods, fresh vegetables or flowers from her garden. She loved spending her time with her friends and family at her place at Loon Lake where she welcomed everyone with open arms. She will be sadly missed by her family, many friends and relatives. As per Catherine’s request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Catherine's name to the Alzheimer Society of BC. We love you Mom/Granny and you will be in our hearts forever.
