If we had to describe my brother, Casey Jansen's life in a couple of song titles it might be "We're here for a good time, not a long time" and" If you want to go to Heaven, you got to raise a little hell". Always up for a good time with good people in his younger years.
Casey was born Aug 1965, a brother to his 8 siblings, he was predeceased by his Mom, Dad & younger brother. He was raised on a dairy farm and then found a large interest in the construction field. He was one of the hardest construction workers and always proudly shared how he could out work all the young guys on the job site. We believe he would have easily been a millionaire had he been able to save money, but he loved his fast cars, woman and life in the fast lane at times.
Three years ago he was diagnosed with cancer on his lung and COPD, an unfortunate combination as the cancer was inoperable due to the COPD. Throughout his illness he never complained and always wore a smile, hiding the pain he was in at times.
Casey passed away peacefully on October 11, 2022 at the Dave Holmberg Hospice. He was 57 and will be missed by his sisters, brothers, in laws, many friends and extended family. We would say rest in peace brother but we know that you will be having a party and enjoying time with all those that have gone before us. Love you Brother, catch you on the other side in due time.
