May 7, 1934 – November 13, 2019
Caroline Priebe was released from her suffering and called to her heavenly home on November 13, 2019. Carol was born in Flowingwell, SK to Nelson E. and Amalia Priebe. She moved with her family to BC in November 1946. She graduated from Philip Sheffield High School in 1952 and went on to study psychiatric nursing at Essondale. She worked in Red Deer for a short time and then went Briercrest Bible Institute. She studied French in Switzerland and then went to Mali, West Africa with Gospel Missionary Union for 36 years, nursing as well as teaching in mission schools. Upon returning from Africa she spent a few years in Quebec before retiring to BC.
She is predeceased by her parents, brothers; Bill, Roy and Len, and sister Evelyn. She is survived by siblings; Eileen, Gladys, Marilyn, Faye and Larry. She will be remembered at Sevenoaks Alliance Church on Monday, November 25, at 2:00 pm. We thank Tabor Court and Holmberg House for the loving care and support that Carol received while in their care. Also, we thank Dr. Milne who she appreciated so much. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the mission schools where Carol worked in Mali, under Avant Ministries (formerly GMU), Winnipeg, Manitoba.
