MAHNEKE Brigitte O. Sept. 24, 1937 ~ Sept. 2, 2013. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brigitte Mahneke. She quietly left this life after a courageous battle with cancer. Brigitte will be missed by family and friends but especially by daughter Trixie, sister Nori, niece Gigi and long time companion Phil. Brigitte came to Mission in 1980 and was a well respected legal assistant. She loved her home and all the nature that surrounded her. Brigitte will be remembered as being friendly and kind to those around her. There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers donations to the BC Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
