SIMPSON, BRIAN RENNIE
August 16, 1944 - August 31, 2008
Brian Rennie Simpson, born August 16, 1944 in Portage la Prairie, Man. died peacefully in Christine Morrison Hospice on August 31, 2008, after a courageous year long battle with cancer.
Rennie is survived by his wife of 44 yrs, Shirley; daughter Michele; granddaughters Brittany and Brianna (Sam), brother Terry (Cathy), sister Judy (Greg) niece Jaimie, Aunt Gladys and son-in-law Jon. Rennie is remembered by many associates in the community particularly those involved with the Abbotsford Air Show and Abbotsford/ Casara Search and Rescue.
A celebration of Rennie's life will be held at 2 pm Sunday, October 5 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 33868 Essendene, Abbotsford. Donations may be made in Rennie's memory to Abbotsford Hospice Society or Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission.
