Brain Norval Geldart, aged 57 years, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 9, 2003 in the arms of his loving wife Sharen, surrounded by family and many friends.
Brian was born February 25, 1946 in Vancouver, B.C. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sons Kyle (Sherri) and Wade; daughter Donna (Suhki); three grandchildren MacKenzie, Joshua and Jack; brother Jerry (Pat); step-sister Dolly (Alvin); sister-in-law Susan; grandmother Elsie ("Nannie"); and many nieces and nephews, as well as the many friends whose lives he touched.
In his younger days, Brian was known as "Brambie" while pitching softball, which was one of his many sports that he loved to play. As well, Brian was a long standing active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Brian's strong sense of humour and outstanding outlook on life will continue to live through all those who knew him.
Brian's wish is for donations to be made to the Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. A Service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Walnut Grove Lutheran Church, 20530 - 88th Avenue, Langley, B.C. Arrangements entrusted to WOODLAWN MISSION FUNERAL HOME 604-826-9548.
