In loving memory ~
My beloved Mom Brenda aged 81, passed away suddenly April 25, 2025. Mom was a loving devoted wife of George Klassen and sons Rory and Todd. We loved camping as a family, fishing and enjoyed many lakes around BC, including a few years on the shores of Shuswap Lake!
As her two boys reached their late teens, and now in her 40s, Mom started the journey towards her life-long dream of becoming a Registered Nurse, graduating in 1989. She nursed in several hospitals including Abbotsford, Washington State, Manitoba, and remote villages of Nunavut.
In the early 2000s Mom and Dad moved to her birthplace Souris, Manitoba and began renovating a 100-year-old heritage home. Mom loved to decorate and could make a 'silk purse out of a sow's ear!' Enjoy your new heavenly mansion, Mom!
Brenda is pre-deceased by her beloved son Todd in 2014 and her husband of 55 years in 2020. She is survived by brother Daryl Woods and son Rory.... Miss You Mom!
Celebration of Life is to be held June 7/25, 2pm, at the 'farm', 38744 Old Yale Rd Abbotsford. All are welcome to attend and join us in celebrating Brenda's life.
