Bikram Singh Deol
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather after a long battle with cancer. Bikram Singh Deol, 75, a long time resident of Mission, BC, passed away on Thursday, March 9th at Holmberg House Hospice Care, surrounded by his family. He was born August 11, 1941 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, to Munsha Singh and Tej Kaur Deol. Bikram is survived by his devoted wife, Jeet Kaur and his daughters Rupinder, Gurrinder, Daljit, Amanjeet, Gurbhavan and late Ravinder. He leaves the legacy of his seven grandchildren, Sarah, Harjosh, Jaivin, Gurvere, Ravere, Nishaan, and Meena, who will be forever grateful for his presence in their lives. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 10:30 am at Fraser River Funeral Home, 2061 Riverside Road, Abbotsford, BC, followed by a Prayer Service at 12:30 pm at Mission Sikh Temple, 32086 Lougheed Hwy., Mission, BC. We would like to acknowledge the number of medical professionals that have helped us along the way, specifically all the nurses at Home Health Care and Holmberg House Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the BC Cancer Society.
