BUSILLA, Beverley Marie (nee Lumb)
Dec. 9th 1930 ~ Feb. 8th 2011
Passed away peacefully at the age of 80 with family at her side in Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Born and raised in Vancouver, Bev graduated from Britannia High School, and went to work at the Hotel Vancouver. In 1951, she met the love of her life and married Allan Busilla. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage before the passing of Allan in April 2008. Beverley enjoyed her many years of employment with Canada Post until retiring in 1996. Mom enjoyed shopping, travelling, playing cards, bowling, family time, trips to the casino, and loved to work in her flower and vegetable garden, a trait that she learned from her grandfather and grandmother. She is survived by her son Wayne (Faye) daughter Shirley Moon (Fred) and grandchildren Michelle, Kenneth, and Robynn (Matt)
Beverley's presence will be missed by family, friends and neighbours. A celebration of her life will be held Friday February 18th @ 1 pm at the Rancho 35110 Delair Rd., Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the BC Lung Association.
