(Erna) Betty Friesen peacefully entered into the glorious presence of her Lord and Saviour in her 96th year on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Cottage Pavilion, her last place of residence. She was born on March 10, 1920 in Poland and immigrated to Canada as a child with her family. Her strong Christian faith was a bright testament to all who knew her, and it faithfully sustained her through the challenges of life. Betty was predeceased by her husband Henry John Friesen in 1997 and is survived by children Wilf (Lynda) Friesen, Dennis (Dorothy) Friesen, Barbara (Eric) Konrad, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Although Betty’s presence here will be greatly missed, we rejoice that she is in her heavenly home. A celebration of her life will take place on Monday May 2nd, 2016 at 1:00 PM in Heritage Alliance Church located at 3400 Mt. Lehman Road, Abbotsford, BC.
