Bertha Irene Pritchard passed away peacefully at the Southwood Care Centre in Calgary, Alberta on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the age of 97 years.
Bertha Davey was born on November 20, 1923, and was raised on a farm near Cobourg, Ontario. She graduated from Prairie Bible Institute in 1953. Bertha worked as a Dental Assistant until 1984 when she met her beloved Ed. They were married in February, 1985 and spent happy retirement years in Abbotsford, BC.
Bertha is survived by step-daughter Fran, step-son Ken, four step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, and her beloved niece Joan Brewer and other nieces and nephews. She was Aunt B to the Dyrholm girls and families.
Birdie was predeceased by husband Ed, sisters Rita and Helen and her brother Edgar. The family expresses gratitude for the loving care she received from the staff of the Southwood Care Centre over her last 10 years. A private Celebration of Life will be held.
