Bertha "Eileen" Hogge, (nee Geeson) born December 5, 1917 in Stettler, Alberta. She lived most of her life in Edmonton, Alberta but passed away peacefully at Menno Home in Abbotsford, British Columbia on December 24, 2003 at the age of 86, surrounded by her 2 daughters and son-in-law. She is survived by her children, Dr. Donna Hogge, Mrs. Lorraine Pacholek and her husband Walter and Mr. Ron Hogge (of Calgary, Alberta) and her sister Dorothy Bateman (of Ponoka, Alberta). she was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Albert James Hogge and her sister Gladys Switzer of Etobicoke, Ontrario. Her children wish to thank the staff of Menno Home for their care and kindness during their mother's final years.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Menno Home on Saturday, January 3, 2004, 32910 Brundige Ave., Abbotsford, B.C. with Pastor David Dyck presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to the Alzheimer's Society or Menno Home.
