Bertha Elise Davies passed away at the age of 78 on Friday, October 24, 2003 at her home of 49 years after a short courageous battle with cancer.
She was predeceased by her parents Jean and Emma; brothers Phil, Rolly and Oscar; sisters Irene and Lil.
Bertha will be lovingly remembered by Vincent her husband of 57 years; 3 daughters, Sharon (Stan) Papp. Bonnie (Carl) Penner and Arlene (Dale) Hildebrandt; 2 sons Rick (Patricia) Davies and Terry (Sherry) Davies; 1 sister Cecille (Fernie) Joly; 1 brother Maurice Foisy; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter; also many relatives and friends.
A Memorial Tea will be held in honour of her life on Saturday, November 1, 2003 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Mission Leisure Centre, 7621 Taulbut Street, Mission, B.C.
Bertha will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
