Bernhard Klassen passed away on December 2, 2015 at Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission.

He leaves behind his wife Augusta, they were married for 61 years; son, Alex and Adeline Klassen (children Jason and Ian), daughter, Anne and Adrian Spitters (children Mandy and Dan Keeley, great grandchildren Dahlia, Nathan and Benjamin; Vanessa Spitters, Mikaela Spitters), sons, Robert Klassen and Richard Klassen. He also leaves to mourn his sister Anna and Henry Hann, sister Agatha Derksen, and brother Peter Klassen as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ben was predeceased by his son, Michael Klassen, grandson Brandon Spitters, and his brother Arthur Klassen.

Ben was born in Millerovo, USSR, March 29, 1928. He came to Canada with his family in 1967, and lived in Vancouver for 5 years. They moved to Abbotsford in 1972. Ben worked in construction and as a cabinet maker. He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00 am today, December 9th at Clearbrook MB Church, 2719 Clearbrook Road.
