Bernadette Theresa
Born the first child of Etienne and Kathleen Parent in Ottawa on June 3, 1930, went to be with God and his angels on July 28, 2005.
Bernadette is survived by her loving husband, of 55 years, Lawrence and her beloved son, Leslie of Langley, BC; her brothers, Paul, Charles (Beverly), Roland (Janet) and sisters Adele Colby (Barry) and Claire Denis (Jean Marie), all of Ottawa.
She leaves three grandchildren Jason, Laura and Christopher of Langley, BC; all of whom were the pride of her heart. Also surviving are eight nieces; three nephews; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. Among many grieving relatives are her sister-in-law Jean Tubman Ross of Kemptville, Ont. and Ronald L. Tubman (Eunice) of Fenelon Falls, Ont.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church on Mayfair Ave in Abbotsford on Sat., Aug 6, 2005 at 11:00 am.
May Bernadette bring as much love and happiness to the angels as she did to her husband, family and friends during her 75 years on this earth.
The family owes a debt of gratitude to Dr. Virgil Danescu for his kindness and care of Bernadette during her illness; and for the great care and love she received during her last weeks form the nursing staff on 3 West at MSA Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Abbotsford Hospice Society, 33134 Marshall Rd., Abbotsford, BC V2S 1K5 to assist in their ongoing services to the Community and to help finance the new Christine Morrison Hospice Facility at Mission Memorial Hospital.
