We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our dear mother and grandmother on January 7, 2005. Mom was born on March 26, 1938 in Port Mouton, NS, and was raised in Thunder Bay, ON. She married and raised her family in River Hills, MB, retired to Victoria, BC, and eventually settled in Abbotsford, BC.
Mom was survived by her four children, Marilyn (Sheldon), Mark (Mike), Carol (Brian), and Russell (Bonnie). She is survived by eleven grandchildren; Evan and Patrick, Alexandra, Chainelle, Robert, Courtney, and Taylor, Eric, Nicolas, Melissa, and Jessica. She is also survived by her mother, Evelyn Sangster, her sister, Deanna Tod (Tom), her sister-in-law, Margaret Winters (Ralph), and many nephews and nieces. She was pre-deceased by her father, Allison Sangster.
There was a small private gathering in her memory on Wednesday, January 12th, in Abbotsford. A memorial service will follow in Winnipeg, MB, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at Immanuel United Church, 755 Golspie St, Winnipeg.
