Barbara passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Saviour at the age of 60 in Holmberg House in Abbotsford on September 1, 2016. She is survived and deeply loved by her husband Vance, children Dan (wife Jacquie), Michelle (husband Stan), and Tim (wife Jessica), grandchildren Matthias, Markus, Eva, Joshua, Zachary, and another on the way, and her beloved mother Christine. She is predeceased by her father Richard C. Wilcox, brother Richard and sister Katherine. Barbara requested that no funeral service be held except for a small gathering of family and a few of her many friends, which was held on a very special and memorable day on Bowen Island. The family very strongly encourages donations be made in honour of Barbara to Abbotsford Hospice Society.
