SIDHU — Bant Singh Sidhu passed away in Abbotsford, B.C. on Tuesday, July 5, 2005. Bant was the son of the late Hazara Singh Sidhu and the late Bhan Kaur Sidhu. He was born 67 years ago in the village of Chukar, in the district of Ludhiana, in the state of Punjab, India. He will be dearly missed by his wife Surjit Kaur Sidhu. Bant was father to 5 children: Roop Singh, Paul Singh, Randy Singh, Devinder Singh, and the late Rashpal Kaur. He was a proud and strong man, who had traveled to many places in the world, keeping ties with a broad and deep base of friends. In India he had been a respected teacher, and in Canada he was a successful farmer. The family will receive visitors at the Abby Art Center, 2329 Crescent Way, for funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2005. Friends and family are also welcomed to attend the prayer services at Khalsa Diwan Society Gurdwara, 33094 South Fraser Way at 1:00 p.m. in Abbotsford on Saturday, July 9, 2005.
