KITLEY, Audrey May

It is with great sadness that the family of Audrey May Kitley announces her passing on December 18, 2010, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Kitley. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Russell Kitley and Lynda Wright; sister and best friend, Lorrie Cameron; brothers, Kerry and Harry Priest; grandchildren, Jessica Wright, Kurtis Kitley, Dusty-Lynn Kitley, Kelsi Wright and Keddy Wright; Lisa, James, Evelyn, and so many other relatives and friends whose hearts she touched.
Audrey was born in Great Plains, Manitoba, grew up in Vancouver, and married Peter Kitley on December 8, 1959. Audrey was a devoted member of the LDS church, a dog lover, a dedicated volunteer, and a courageous woman who helped her husband through many years of illness before his passing in 2008, and braved her own battle with cancer from 2005. She will be remembered for her enduring sense of humor, her generosity, and her amazing courage. Heartfelt thanks to the volunteer drivers, home support workers, hospice volunteer, Rose, the palliative teams at both the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and the Christine Morrison Hospice in Mission, for caring for Audrey with kindness and dignity.
There will be a service at Abbotsford LDS Stake Center, 30635 Blueridge Drive, Abbotsford at 1:00 p.m.on December 22, 2010.
