Arthur passed away June 12, 2006 in Abbotsford. Born in Laird, Sask, 1921, moved to BC 1943. Joined the Army. Served overseas 'til 1945. Served in England, Holland, France and Germany. In 1950 joined and served in the Special Forces in Korea 'til the fall of 1931.
Survied by his loving wife, of 60 years, Olivia; daughters Patricia (Joe) Haaf, Billie (Andy) Compagna; six grandchildren: Chris (Cristina) Ed, Steven (Cheryl) Dean, Debbie, Dana (Sarah); seven great grandchildren: Brittany, Dylan, Isabella, Georgina, Kylie, Aiden, and Alexandra; three brothers: Cliff, Floyd, and Peter; two sisters: Agnes and Grace. Arthur worked in Maple Ridge lumber mill from 1946 - 1956, then at Woodlands School 1956 - 1973 as a male nurses aide, moved to Hills, BC 1973, to Nakusp in 1993, and to Abbotsford in 2004.
Cremation with no service.
