MADDOCKS, Arthur Herbert (Art).
February 5, 1925 - July 3, 2011. Art was born on the family farm in Saskatchewan. He was 13 when the family moved to the farm in Richmond. He spent his adult life as a Matsqui pioneer, and worked as a milk tester on local
farms. He was a founder of Ridgedale Credit Union and in retirement was very involved and a tireless worker in the Matsqui Community Hall. Predeceased by brothers Tony, Jack, Robert, David and by his wife and partner of 54 years Hazel, he is survived by sisters Mavis and Joyce, and brothers Harry and Keith, three children, Terry Price, Lyle (Jackie) Price, Cheryl (Dave) Plume, grandchildren Carey Agnew (Chris Corman), Jason (Aaron) Price, Cheryl Marie Plume, Craig (Kirsten) Price and Anna Agnew and great grandchildren Lucas, Saskia, Sabina, Taylor, Jaden, Nicola and Kennedy. A memorial will be held at Matsqui Lutheran Church, 5781 Riverside Rd, Matsqui, BC V4X 1T6 at 11:00 am on Monday July 18.
