Arnold John Popp passed away on April 28, 2003 at the age of 85 years in Abbotsford, B.C.
He was predeceased by his son George Edward in 1982, by his granddaughter Stacey Marie McWhinnie in 1974 and by his son-in-law Leonard McWhinnie in 1992.
He is survived by his loving wife Freda Lilian, sons Ken (Susan) and Fred, daughters Sally (Ed) Nabess and Janice McWhinnie and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his step-mother Louise and step-sister Gladys McKillop (Richard).
Mr. Popp served during WWII with the RCASC 69th Truck Transport Unit. He also worked for Weldwood of Canada for many years and retired in 1981. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Funeral Home 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford.
