GREEN Anthony John "Jim". With very sad hearts we announce the passing of our cherished husband, father, and grandfather, Anthony John Green "Jim". Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 54 yrs, Eunice, children; Stephen (Shane), Lorraine, Tracy (Carl), and Linda (Al), grandchildren; Sarah (Derek), David (Tara), Kevin (Katelyn), Stephen, Brett, Alyssa (Tyler), Scott, Jennifer, Andrew, Krysta, Dylan, and great - grandchildren; Abigail, Faith & Jaxon. He is also survived by his brother Christopher (Margaret), in-laws, Christine (Paul), June (Ken), Jean, and Roy, godson Mike (Annette), nephew John (Kirsty), and nieces Sharon, Kerry (Clarke), Mandy, Kim (Mike) and too many more to name. Jim will be missed by many, family & friends in England, Ontario and BC, but most especially by his faithful companion "King". Jim was born in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England on July 2, 1936 and spent 8 yrs in the British Royal Navy. Jim and Eunice married in 1958; after starting their family in England they moved everyone to Ontario in 1975. Eventually Jim's family all settled in Abbotsford, BC, where he passed away peacefully Dec 12, 2012. He passed too soon for us all but, was sent onwards with love, to be reunited with his parents John & Frances, step-mum Nell, and many other family and friends who have gone before. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, Dec 22, 2012 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd., Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
