Annigje (Ann) (nee Rudolphi)
November 21, 1918 - February 23, 2007
Our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on February 23, 2007. Ann is survived by Tim, her loving husband of 55 years, her son John (Judy); grandchildren Kevin and Laura; great granddaughter Anna; her daughter Deborah (Charlie Wells); sisters Siep in the Netherlands and Geertje in Ladner, B.C. Ann is predeceased by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
Ann was born in Haag, Friesland, The Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1949 with her sister Geertje. At church in Vancouver, B.C. she met Tieme (Tim) and they married on Aug. 3, 1951.
The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. G. Mitchell and Dr. D. Muthayan and the nurses at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, especially nurse Tracy in emergency and Bonnie on 2 West for their kindness to Mom in her final hours. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Pastor J.D. Greendyck who visited numerous times each day as 'Mom' lay in hospital, always giving encouragement and pastoral care to the family.
A memorial service will be held at the Emmanuel Free Reformed Church, 3366 Mt. Lehman Road, Abbotsford, B.C. on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 1:00 pm with refreshments to follow..
