Annie Bos (nee Visser) peacefully passed away into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on June 21, 2006 at the Tabor Home, in her 89th year. She was born on September 5, 1917 in Lethbridge, Alberta.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Bob (Diane) Bos, Margaret (John) Bos, Sid (Venessa) Bos, Jim (Nancy) Bos, Chuck (Colleen) Bos, Valerie (Wayne) Sucee, Violet (Gaetan) Lauzon, Muriel (Mark) Zillwood, Doug (Jeanette) Bos. She will also be deeply missed by her 30 grandchildren, 25 great grandÂchildren and her only brother Albert Visser (Grace).
Annie was an active member of the Christian Reformed Church throughout her life. Her love and strength in God was evident by the way she cared for her children and grandchildren. She was a very talented seamstress and used her gifts while working at Ebenezer Home for many years. She had a wonderful spirit about her and enjoyed playing games with family and friends. Annie’s joy, wit and laughter will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25 from 7-9 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd, Abbotsford. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 26 at 10:00 am at Hazelwood Cemetery, followed by a Memorial service at 11:00 am from Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, 34631 Old Clayburn Rd. Abbotsford, with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flower, donations may be made to World Vision, PO Box 1000 Stn. Streetsville, Mississauga, ON L5M 9Z9, in memory of Annie.
