WALL, Anna Antonia
January 8, 1911 ~ April 6, 2015
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Antonia Wall on April 6, 2015 at the age of 104. She was born to Anton and Kathie Wiebe in Ignatewka, Ukraine. She had three brothers and three sisters whom she left behind when she was able to immigrate to Canada in April 1929 (she never saw them again). Anna will be remembered for her strong faith in God. She also was kind-hearted, loving and had a caring personality and who had endless strength and energy. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her friends and family, knitting for worthwhile causes and being involved in various church programs. Anna is predeceased by her husband Bernard, whom she had been married to for 69 years and is survived by her children Ruth (Dan), Ed (Shirley) and Art (Kathleen), her grandchildren Shaun (Crystal), Jeff, Heather, Sarah, one foster grandson Tyler and one great-grandson Lukas. She will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the caring staff of Sherwood Crescent Manor in Abbotsford. There will be a graveside service at Maclure Cemetery in Abbotsford on April 15 at 11:00 am. Donations can be made in Anna Wall's name to MCC.
