Anna Barg
June 16, 1920 - October 8, 2017
Anna Barg passed away October 8, 2017 at Bevan Lodge in Abbotsford.
She was born in south Russia on June 16, 1920 and in 1926 immigrated to Canada with her family who settled near Calgary, Alta.
In 1939 she married Ben Barg and in 1946 they moved to Chilliwack and settled on a dairy farm. In 1967 they realized a life long dream when they moved to an acreage on Ryder Lake. Anna had a strong faith and she lived for her family, her faith and her friends. She especially loved the garden and all its gifts.
Anna was much loved and will be missed by her children Esther (Ernie), Olga (David), Abe (Carole), Dan (Hilda), George (Linda), Liz, Peter (Sheila), and Ruth (Dennis).
Also, she is survived by many dear grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Anna was predeceased by her husband Ben, her grandsons Kurt, Shane, Buckey, her grand son-in-law Scott and her son-in-law Ernie Ruggles.
A memorial service will be held in Eden Mennonite Church in Chilliwack on Friday, October 20th at 1:30 p.m. I
