Ann Williams of Abbotsford, BC, passed away on January 4, 2015 at the age of 87. Ann was born in Uffa, Russia and immigrated to Canada in 1929. The family started homesteading in Caster, Alberta. Ann married Jack in 1946 in Edmonton, Alberta. They moved to Abbotsford in 1954 and in 1960 Ann opened Ann's Beauty Parlor on Montrose Ave. Ann had a passion for family and friends. Ann loved to cook, sew and garden, and donate time to Helping Hands. She is lovingly remembered by 3 sons: Steven (Karen), Rick (Janice), Wayne (Wendy); daughter, Deborah Cameron; 9 grandchildren: Daniel (Jenni), Jeremy, Kristall (Ryan), Daniel (Tara), Jordan, Libby (Adam), Sean (Pax), Rhys, Graylen; great-grandson, Braydon, and 3 siblings: Elisabeth, Mary and Art. Many thanks to the Hallmark on the Park staff, and the Abbotsford Regional Hospital nurses and doctors who gave Ann such wonderful loving care. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church, 33218 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC with Pastor Don Murdoch officiating. Interment will be at Hazelwood Cemetery at 11:00 am. Donations in memory of Ann may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
