Anita Edwards passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, June 29 2005 after a bravely fought battle with cancer. Anita was predeceased by her son Montgomery, her parents Tony and Mary Todosychuk, sister Mary McDonald, and brothers Mike, Peter, Harry, Johnny and Joe Todosychuk. Anita is survived by Norman, her loving husband of 52 years; son Mike (Teresa); and daughters Vicki (Dave), Gail and Betty-Lue. She enriched the lives of her eight grandchildren; Todd, Jenna Lee, Stacy, Kylie, Jayde, Denzyl, Tiffany and Dyllan. Anita will be dearly missed by the many hearts she touched. Anita was born in Canora, Saskatchewan and moved to Vancouver as a child. She married Norman on December 27, 1952 in Hatzic, B.C. The couple raised their children in Mission. She was a dedicated, loving wife, mother, gramma, sister, aunt and friend. She had a contagious smile and a sympathetic ear. She was accepting of everyone and her door was always open, except Tuesday afternoon (under the "B"). We would like to thank Dr. Frew, Dr. Potter, the care aids and nurses who helped us make her comfortable. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Hall on Friday, July 8 at 2:00 pm at 33336 Second Avenue, Mission, British Columbia.
