NICHOLSON. Rev. Angus James. Angus was born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia on March 28, 1940. Angus spent over 30 years of his life in the ministry, pouring out endless music and compassion from his heart to all he came across. Delivering guidance and comfort when tears flowed. Shared in the laughter and joy for the victories in life. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, son and brother and although he is gone to be with Jesus, he will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts. His journey on earth came to a peaceful end surrounded by his family on October 21, 2011 as his heavenly journey began. Angus' family will especially miss his contagious laughter, his unfailing support and all his encouraging words. Angus is survived by his loving wife Rose, daughters Bonnie (Al) and Tricia (Bryan) & son David; his seven grandchildren Matthew, Amanda, Skye, Erik, Tiera, Taylor, Dustyn and his great granddaughter Laryssa. Also surviving are his sisters Christena Allen, Florence Ellis, Ann (Fred) Burt, Sandra (Ralph) McKeigan, and Lynn (Lorne) Tait. Also surviving are brothers Donald (Connie), Gary (Alta), Jack (Gloria), Ted (Ethel), Richard (Charlene), Daniel (Theresa) and approx 150 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mom Mary Ann and dad Archie, brothers William, Melrose, Cavell, and Shelby and sister Margaret also brothers-in-law Ken Allen, Bill Ellis and Lorne MacLean. Visitation will be at Wiebe & Jeske, 202 - 31314 Peardonville Road, Tuesday October 25, 2011 from 6-8 pm. Burial will be at Veddar View Cemetery, Chilliwack, BC. Memorial services will be celebrated Wednesday at 2 pm at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly in the Lucas Centre with Rev. Jack Keys officiating and a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosanna Evangelistic Ministries at 308A-34313 Forrest Terrace, Abbotsford, BC, V2S 7L2.
