November 10, 1922 - October 5, 2018
With complete confidence that she has entered the presence of her Lord Jesus, the family of Amelia Rorison announces her graduation on October 5, 2018, just short of her 96th birthday.

Beloved wife of 72 years to John Rorison; loving mother to Diane (Bill) Rogers, Joy (Jim) Loosli; devoted and proud grandmother to Tessa Loosli, Diana (Tim) Loosli, & Jaime (Arless ) Loosli and great-grandmother to Dominic, Tanner, Isabella, & Mavis Amelia- she will be sorely missed. She was predeceased by her parents Angelo & Annetta Ge, siblings Antoinetta Ge & Mario Ge, and granddaughter Amy Sheremeto.

Amelia was born and raised in London, England, weathering the ravages of World War II where she was known as 'Milly the Riveter' as she worked on the production of Halifax Bombers. Then, in 1946, she married the love of her life, a Canadian soldier, John, on repatriation in London from service in Italy. After a memorable voyage on the Queen Mary, she landed at the now famous Pier 21 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and began an unforgettable cross-country train trip with hundreds of war brides, to journey's end in Vancouver where was reunited with her husband. In 1949, then again in 1954, they adopted their daughters. She was a devoted wife and mother, modelling herself after the characteristics enshrined in Proverbs 31. Her hands were never idle. Her wonderful sense of humour was always ready. She will be remembered for her encouraging and supportive spirit; her loyalty, dedication, and generosity.

The family wish to thank the Nursing Staff at Tabor Home & Worthington Cottage.

Internment occurred on October 11, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held on November 10, 2018 at 11:0 am at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, B.C. V2S 1M1.
