manda, (Mandy) was born in Maidenhead, England on October 25, 1942 and passed away April 16, 2019 after a brief illness. Mandy came to Canada in 1959 at the age of 17 years and never looked back. Her love of horses led her to open a feed and tack store on Sea Island in Richmond, B.C. and later to purchase five acres of land in Aldergrove where she trained horses to run at Exhibition Park. Then, she discovered antiques, and that became her new passion. Many will remember her various shops in Aldergrove. Amanda was predeceased by her two sons, David Louie Yuen, and William Buchanan Finney.
She will be sadly missed by her family, brother, Andrew (Lesley) Rowse, sisters, Melanie (Ron) McKinley, and Gay Roberts, and several nieces and nephews. Her family in England includes half sisters Norah, Claire, Susan, and Anne. There will be no service by request, however donations in Amanda's name made be made to Raven's Moon Resource Society, Abbotsford, BC. The family would like to thanks Raven's Moon for their love and care of Amanda.
