Aloysius N. "Duffy"

Duffy Haffner, born July 1, 1931 in Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 in Mission, BC.

He is loved and will be missed by his children Danny, Bob (Laurie), Cindy and Joey; 4 grandchildren; brother Pete (Isabelle); sister Louise (Vince); sister-in-law Mary; numerous nieces and nephews and former wife Wilma. He will be dearly missed by Wally & Joy, Eric and a host of other family and friends.

Duffy was predeceased by his infant son Kenny, son Larry and brothers Wendelin, John and Frank.

He moved to BC as a lad and had worked in the diamond drilling and logging industries before starting his own trucking business, A. Haffner Trucking , in Mission.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 8, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 32550 — 7th Avenue, Mission, BC. If desired, donations in Duffy’s memory can be made to the Dr. Stuart Pavillion Extended Care Unit, Mission, BC.
