BUSILLA, Allan Harry

Allan was born July 30th 1928 in McMunn, Manitoba, and passed away in Abbotsford, BC in his 80th year on April 25th 2008.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Beverley, his son Wayne (Faye), his daughter Shirley (Fred) Moon and his grandchildren, Michelle, Ken and Robynn. He is also survived by his brothers Gordon, and John (Marian) Busilla of Winnipeg as well as many other cousins, nephews and nieces.

Allan was a hard working individual, as attested by those that knew him, trying his hand at farming, mining, construction as well as his 35 year tenure with the British Columbia Telephone Co. Allan has made his home here in Abbotsford for more than 50 years, originally coming to this area as the Telephone district repairman.

All that knew him will remember him as a very kind and generous man. He was that friend or neighbour that would show up at your door with home grown tomatoes, or to bring you a taste of his smoke salmon. He was a very genuine individual, who spoke his mind and never hesitated to stop and say hello to you as well as lending you a helping hand when needed. He leaves a legacy of love and generosity, and will be greatly missed by us all.

Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Allan's life which will take place at 1:00 pm May 1st 2008 at the Rancho, 35110 Delair Road, Abbotsford, BC. Flowers are graciously declined by the family, and those wishing to honour Allan's memory can do so with a donation to their favourite charity.
