Born in Ashmont, AB in 1936 to Bill and Bessie (nee Sorochan) Hartley. Passed away in the presence of her family on August 23, 2009 in Langley, B.C. She will be forever loved and missed by Ken, her husband of 39 years; her children Debbie (Roger), Brad, Stacey (Scott), Kathryn (Mike), Fraser (Carla) and daughter-in-law Debbie; her grandchildren; her sisters Ina (Terry) and Joan (Cy); sisters-in-law Laura and Dot; her Maritime in-laws; her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her mother and father, her sisters Doreen and Diane; her brothers John, George and James and her son John. Respecting Alice's wishes, there will be no service held. The family would like to thank the staff of the Lion's Gate Hospital, the Abbotsford General and the Langley Hospice for their care and support, especially Dr. Klimo for giving her hope.
