He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Annie, his wife Virginia, his brothers Bill and Norman Edward, and his sisters-in-law Dorothy (Bill) and Mabel (Charlie). He is survived by his daughter Valerie Edward, his brother Charles, his sister-in-law Marion (Norman) Edward, his nieces Ann Scott and Beverly Nutt, and his nephews Ronald Edward and Rodney (Bailee) Edward.
