Agnes Marie Stewart (nee Armstrong)

Agnes Marie Stewart (Armstrong), age 76, died in Abbotsford, BC on July 24, 2019. Born in Truro, NS to Joseph Nathaniel Armstrong and Agnes Jean Michaud, she grew up in Pictou, NS and later lived in Mulgrave, NS. In 1991 she moved to British Columbia and lived in Vancouver, Victoria, Langley and Abbotsford. Agnes is predeceased by her husband Daniel Stewart in 1987 and is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Prive of Abbotsford. She is also survived by eight siblings; Joseph Armstrong of Falkland, BC, Elizabeth (Betty) Campbell of Pictou, NS, Mary Clark of Durham, NS, Frances Wilson of Surrey, BC, William (Bill) Armstrong of Caledonia, NS, James (Jim) Armstrong of Calgary, AB, Teresa (Terry) Hicks of Dartmouth, NS and George Armstrong of Brandon, MB.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Tanglebank Gardens in Abbotsford on Wednesday, August 14 from 4:30-7:30 pm. Burial services will be held at a later date in Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in memory of Agnes at the Fraser Valley Regional Library (FVRL) and BC Diabetes.
