Agnes Kroeker (nèe Harder) passed away peacefully in her home on December 17, 2022, at the age of 85.
She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing.
Agnes was born in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua Mexico, on October 19, 1937. At the age of 15, she came to Canada to have a better life. She worked hard and met many dear friends, but most importantly she met the love of her life, Henry Kroeker.
Agnes was a devoted wife and mother to her five children and was blessed to have numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She sacrificed and gave of herself countless times so that her family was always loved and taken care of.
Agnes leaned on her strong faith in God. Every morning, she spent time reading her Bible for comfort and strength. Two of her favorite verses were Timothy 2:15 and Psalms 23.
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the work of truth." Timothy 2:15
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. With me, thy rod, and thy staff they comfort me." Psalms 23
As a woman of faith, she has now gone to heaven to join her beloved husband and two of her sons. She will be terribly missed by those she has left behind.
