AGNES E. DRELAND was born in Rose Valley, SK May 14, 1919 and went to meet her Lord and family on September 17, 2012. She was the eldest of thirteen children of Ralph and Ellen Nelson being raised on their homestead. She attended Bible school where she met Howard Dreland and they married in 1940. The couple spent their life in ministry with the Evangelical Free Church and began several new works in the western provinces. Agnes raised six children and nursed her husband in his last years of their fifty seven years together. Her last years were spent in helping the community and sharing time with her children and their families. The past five years she has been a resident at the Menno Place and made many lap blankets for residents despite her failing sight. Her family is grateful for the kindness and care she received there. She is predeceased by her husband, one son, her parents and four siblings. Survived by children Yvonne (Harold), Sharon, Jon (Vicky), Lily Ann (Keith), Davida (Jerry), 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, eight siblings and faithful friend Mary Dyck. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CNIB or Christian Blind Mission - Talking Books. A Memorial Service will be held in the Abbotsford Evangelical Free Church, Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:30 pm
